Gala
The Hispanic College Fund Gala is an annual event held in our nation's capital to recognize the philanthropic achievements of business leaders and the outstanding accomplishments of all students in HCF programs. All of the proceeds from the gala are used to support the Hispanic College Fund's programs. This year, HCF presents the one US annual gala on October 19th at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. The one US theme is a dual-pronged message, which can be read as one us to emphasize coming together as a community or as one U.S. to focus on national unity to achieve one goal. This was purposefully developed to create a unifying message about education in this country. We want everyone – not just Latinos – to understand the relationship between Latino student success and the future success of America. The one US theme is inclusive of all populations and emphasizes the value of unifying our nation through education despite our differences in race, ethnicity, gender, culture, faith, or ideology.
