August 13, 2008 (DALLAS, Tex.) - The Hispanic College Fund (HCF) today announced that eleven additional sponsors have joined General Dynamics and Gulfstream Aerospace in support of the 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit programs for the Hispanic College Fund on Monday, October 27, 2008, at the Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas. The money raised by the tournament will provide two $5,000 scholarships to deserving Latino students from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and support the expansion of the Hispanic Youth Symposium to Dallas in 2009.

The Hispanic College Fund today announced the election of Harriet Sanford, President & CEO, NEA Foundation, to the board of trustees. She will begin serving a three year term effective January 14, 2008.
